We're excited to kick off the 2025 AIDS/LifeCycle season!
Whether you’re registered for ALC or not, whether you’re thinking about it or just planning to be a ‘stay at home hero’ this year, come ride with the Outspoken team and have a fun day.
If you’re new to cycling, this is the perfect opportunity to get your feet wet on the road with a beginner-friendly, all-pace-welcome, and open-to-all ride. And share this event with your friends! Everyone welcome, no requirement to join Outspoken, but we hope you’ll like riding with us. We promise, we’re a lot of fun :-)
We'll meet at Howard S Wright Memorial Fountain in front of the Space Needle on Sunday, September 22nd at 10:00 AM. Ride begins at 10:30 AM.

If you’re new to cycling, here are some items you'll need to participate in any ALC training ride:
- Wear a helmet (required)
- Bring ID (required)
- Have your participant number available (if you’re registered)
- Water bottle(s) (required)*
- Frame Pump or CO2 Cartridge, spare tube, and appropriate tools for tire changing (required)
- Electrolytes (eg, Nuun tabs)
- Food (eg, protein bar, pocket snack)
* During training rides, plan to use electrolytes on rides greater than 2 hours and/or on hot days. You should practice consuming 30-50g of carbs each hour, and consuming liquds every 15 minutes.
