About
We meet at the Red Bridge on the Virgin Hotel side.
Warm up starts at 5:55 to set off 6:00
Run Talk Run exists to make both running and mental health support less intimidating and more accessible. A friendly, free and supportive group, Run Talk Run Glasgow is a safe and open space to talk how you are doing: the good times, the not so good time and everything in between. Whilst we chat, we run walk or jog 5km.
We go along the Clyde towards the Hydro, across a few bridges and back again and is very flat! We don't care about speed or pace and nobody is left behind, everyone is welcomed and encouraged.
Bag drop is available at a near by location please send a message to arrange. Toilets are available nearby in the St. Enoch Centre.
We're situated right beside St. Enoch subway, easily accessible by bus, on street parking free after 6. But it is Glasgow, so likely to be difficult.
If you are thinking about coming along for the first time, but are worried about the running, or the conversations, please don't be. Our run really is gentle, if we walk for a bit or all then that's fine. There is no pressure to talk about anything you don't want to (everyone that's there 'gets it' and we all know talking about our mental health can be pretty daunting) - if you want to come along and just listen to the other runners, you will be welcomed all the same. If you have any questions at all, please drop a message on Heylo.
See you soon
