About
Walk Talk Walk exists to make both walking and mental health support less intimidating and more accessible. A friendly, free and supportive group, Walk Talk Walk is a safe and open space to talk about how you are doing: the good times, the not so good times and everything in between. Whilst we chat we will walk around 3k. We don’t care about speed or pace and nobody is left behind…whether you are a seasoned runner or coming along for your first bit of exercise in a while, all are welcome and encouraged.
We will be meeting outside of Carmondean Health Centre, you can leave bags and coats inside if needed. We will walk from the health centre around various 3k walking routes and back to the health centre.
If you are thinking about coming along for the first time but are worried about the activity or the conversations, please don’t be. Our walk really is gentle, if we walk slower for a bit or all then that’s fine (and it’s easier to blather that way too!). And as much as conversations around mental health are encouraged and expected, there is no pressure to talk about anything you don’t want to (we get it, talking about our mental health can be scary) - if you want to come along and just listen to other walkers, you will be welcomed all the same. If you have any questions please contact via the website runtalkeun.com or barclayjoggers@gmail.com
Looking forward to meeting you soon!
